Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the sweetheart of America after she won American Idol in the first season. The singer was not just ushered into stardom by her win and announcing the contract for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records. In the years since, she's made several recordings from her studio. Three albums have topped the US Billboard 200 charts while the other two were only a hair way away. She's one of the biggest artists that have come out from American Idol. As she achieved success she tried out different genres and themes, frequently writing her own songs with her personal feelings. Due to her distinctiveness and talent as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from critics and won a few prestigious award. She has also received the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her singing professional career, she has had a stint in TV and film. She is also the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
