Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright as well as a teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. While still a small girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up shifting in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade.
